Consistency Shines Through with Strong Division Placement The runner demonstrated a remarkable level of consistency throughout the race, maintaining an average pace close to 7:20 min/mile for the majority of the distance. The performance peaked in the final stretches with the 20th and 21st miles clocking in at an impressive 7:04 min/mile. This contributed to an overall pace of 7:23 min/mile, which helped secure a strong 4th place in their M40-44 division by the end of the 26-mile course. In addition to the great division finish, a slight slowdown was noted in mile 13 with an 8:56 min/mile split and at the 26th mile with a split of 7:50. These minor variances offer room to refine the pacing strategy further for a potentially even stronger performance in future races. Focusing on maintaining consistent speed near the end can ensure even more competitive placements. Solid job overall!
