Steady Improvement and Strong Splits Sarah Roberts completed the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon with an official time of 2:17:40, maintaining an average pace of 10:30 min/mile. Starting strong, Sarah's initial mile took 10:42, progressively improving her pace in the first half of the race. Mile 5 was her quickest at 9:01. Her position placed her 852nd among female participants and 82nd in her age division. She showed notable improvement from her initial position, highlighting her gradual adjustment and pacing strategy. Her performance exhibited consistent splits, especially in the mid-race miles where she maintained a pace around 9:30 to 10:00. Although there was a deceleration in the final miles, this is a common area for improvement. Focusing on maintaining a stronger pace toward the race end could enhance overall results.
