Consistent Effort Throughout the Race Becky Sims maintained a steady pace during the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Her initial splits were impressive, starting with a 10:32 min/mile pace, gradually settling into a rhythm that lingered around the 11-minute mark for the middle miles. By Mile 6, there was a deceleration to a 12:28 min/mile pace, before regaining some momentum by Mile 8 with a 12:13 min/mile pace. She finished with a final time of 2:49:30, translating to an average pace of 12:56 min/mile. Her pacing showed a slight slowing trend in the latter part of the race, peaking with a 17:39 min/mile pace at Mile 12. In the division F 55-59 category, Becky placed 51st. A potential area for improvement would be maintaining her pace in the latter mileage. Overall, her performance demonstrates stamina and perseverance. Keep up the great work with consistent pacing!
