Strong Mid-Race Splits Boost Overall Performance Sara Hodges showcased an impressive performance at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Starting with a consistent pace of 10:11 min/mile in the first mile, she progressively improved her pace, hitting a highlight of 8:42 min/mile at the 5-mile mark. Throughout the race, Sara demonstrated steady progression, particularly between miles 2 and 5 where she consistently improved her splits. Her placement in the Female 40-44 division saw significant favorable adjustments, moving from 73rd to 65th by mile 6. As the race progressed, certain splits saw an increase in time, specifically mile 11 with a split pace of 15:38 min/mile.
