Consistent Performance with Strategic Pacing Katrina Elliott from Benton, NH participated in the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, completing the 13.1 miles in 2:45:18 with an average pace of 12:37 min/mile. She delivered a strong performance, remaining relatively consistent throughout the race. Notably, she showed a solid start with a first mile pace of 10:58 min/mile, which was her fastest mile. Examining the splits, Katrina maintained a steady pace, keeping most miles below 12:30 min/mile, except for a notable slowdown during mile 11, clocking in at 20:03 min/mile, likely indicating a challenging section. Despite this, she rebounded quickly, finishing strong. Her overall place was 2093 out of 2630 participants, and she finished 120th in the F 45-49 division. There is a great foundation here, and continued strength and endurance training could be beneficial for easing through any difficult segments in future races. Great job representing Run Free or Die!
