Consistent Start, Gradual Decline Alba Rodriguez-Pacheco maintained a solid pace throughout the early stages of the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon. Her initial pace of 7:33 min/mile indicated a strong start, earning her 15th place in her age division. The consistent splits in the opening miles, particularly a 7:52 min/mile during mile 6, reflect Alba's steady pace. Notably, her performance at the halfway point reflected her place standing in the division. While Alba's pacing was strong initially, the latter part of the marathon saw a gradual decrease in speed.
