Consistent Pacing and Strength in Division Peter Brown delivered a consistent performance in the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Starting with an impressive 6:44 min/mile pace, he maintained strong splits throughout the race. His pace slightly fell to a 7:15 min/mile for Mile 10, but he displayed resilience by completing the race with an overall time of 1:30:35, maintaining a solid average pace of 6:54 min/mile. Peter consistently remained in the top 10 of his division, Male 45-49, ultimately placing 9th. With 2630 competitors, Peter's overall position was 88th, and he ranked 65th among male participants. Notably, his fastest split came at Mile 4 with a pace of 6:20 min/mile. While his pacing slowed in the final miles, Peter's early strength and overall consistency were commendable. Fine-tuning speed endurance toward the end of the race could be beneficial for future events.
