Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Grace Perry showed a strong start with consistent pacing in the early miles of the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon. She maintained an average pace of 8:22 min/mile during the first mile and sustained a steady pace around 8:30 min/mile through mile 10. Notably, she improved her rank within her division significantly from 41st to 22nd at the 6-mile mark while also ascending gender and overall placings. In the later stages, the pace began slowing, culminating in a final average pace of 10:53 min/mile. From mile 19 onward, her splits exceeded 10 minutes each, hitting a 12:26 min/mile at mile 20 and peaking at 17:28 min/mile on mile 21. The overall finish time was 4:45:30, placing her 79th in her division and 315th among females. Moving forward, focusing on endurance over the latter stages of the marathon will be key to improving her race outcomes.
