Strong Start, Brief Struggles, Solid Finish Alexis Anderson delivered a commendable performance at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon. Her initial mile time was 7:17, with a strong early pace of 7:25 per mile by the second mile, propelling her to 10th place in her age division at mile one. Maintaining consistency, she held an impressive 7:42 to 8:00 pace for the next several miles, stabilizing her division position around 12th through mile five. Despite a slight pace drop to 8:11 on mile nine, Alexis showed resilience by maintaining her form. A steady increase in split times from mile 15 resulted in an overall increase in her pace, reaching a peak of 13:00 at mile 16. However, Alexis made a notable recovery toward the end, resetting to more consistent paces by mile 24, ultimately finishing the marathon in 3:57:46.
