Consistent Performance with Impressive Recovery Noami Garcia delivered a steady performance at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, representing the Wasatch Warriors team. She completed the 13.1-mile course in 2:27:36, maintaining an average pace of 11:16 min/mile. A consistent strategy propelled her with varying split paces, notably recovering from a 13:36 min/mile split at mile 11 to close out the race strongly with a 12:35 min/mile pace for the last mile. Noteworthy is her ability to regain momentum after challenging splits. Starting strong, her initial 10:17 min/mile pace at mile 1 was a great start. Despite a slowdown mid-race, she impressively regained pace, exemplified by a 9:22 min/mile split at mile 5. Finishing 1789th overall out of 2630 participants and placing 247th in the F 19-24 division, Noami demonstrated resilience and potential for faster segment execution with more targeted pace variation.
