Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Sara Schirack demonstrated remarkable consistency at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, achieving an overall time of 1:52:32 with an average pace of 8:35 min/mile. The race comprised swift pacing, notably hitting sub-9:00 min/mile splits six times. Sara maintained a stable pace throughout the event, highlighting only a slight variation in the middle sections, where her pace slightly increased to reach 9:01 min/mile at mile 6. Impressively, she gained momentum towards the end, clocking her fastest split of 8:00 min/mile in the final mile. Sara's performance placed her 643rd out of 2,630 participants, highlighting the strength of her consistent running strategy. Among female participants, she finished 291st, and in her division of F 25-29, she secured 48th. Her membership in Team STICU provided her with excellent support and camaraderie throughout the race.
