Consistent Early Pace, Strategic Finish Julianna started the marathon with a strong and steady pace, maintaining 9:24 min/mile for the first two miles. Her best split pace was at mile 6, recording 9:08 min/mile. From miles 10 to 14, she showed tenacity by improving her pace, getting faster and reaching 9:33 min/mile by mile 14. Her strategic pacing kept her within the middle of her age group, placing 13th in the F 50-54 category for multiple miles. Throughout the race, Juliannas standing fluctuated, but overall, she maintained a commendable level of consistency. Although there were some tougher stretches toward the end, particularly between miles 23 and 26, she demonstrated resilience, completing the marathon in 4:59:15. Her overall placement was 824th out of 1388 participants. For future races, focusing on those latter miles could further enhance her performance and pacing strategy. An impressive effort and strong representation for Team Run4Fun.
