Sustained Effort with Strong Finish Mason started off strong at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon with a promising 11:50 min/mile pace for the first mile. Although his pace varied throughout the race, his efforts in the third mile brought his split pace down to 10:41 min/mile, showing strategic pacing adjustments. Notably, miles four and five maintained improvement with split times of 10:29 min/mile and 11:06 min/mile, respectively. Maintaining focus, Masons performance in the second half was instrumental in his overall finish. He successfully tackled miles six and nine with one of his fastest paces at 11:16 min/mile and 10:27 min/mile, contributing to an overall pace of 11:53 min/mile.
