Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Lindsay Wright began the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon with a commendable display of consistent pacing, maintaining a 9:14 min/mile pace over the first three miles. Her most impressive mile occurred between miles 4 and 5 with an 8:27 min/mile pace, showing strong capabilities in the early stages. Despite early consistency, her performance oscillated slightly, with mile 6 marking a slower pace at 9:33 min/mile, an area that could provide insight for pacing strategy in future races. As the race progressed, the latter half presented challenges for Lindsay, as evidenced by increased split times. Notably, her splits increased over miles 8 through 13, culminating in an 11:25 min/mile for the final mile. Despite a drop in pace, Lindsay maintained a solid overall ranking. Her final time of 2:08:31 and a per-mile pace of 9:48 min/mile, reflects a diligent effort throughout varying race conditions.
