Consistent Performance with Strategic Pacing Linda Price maintained a steady rhythm at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, maintaining a consistent pace through most of the race. Her average pace was 9:15 min/mile, achieved by a strong opening mile of 8:56 min/mile and efforts like the impressive 8:08-minute mile at the fifth mile marker. Notably, her ranking improved during the race, reaching as high as 36th in her division (F 30-34) by the sixth mile. Overall, she successfully completed the 13.1-mile course with a time of 2:01:20. Although the latter half of the race showed a slight decrease in pace, with a peak in the ninth mile at 10:09 min/mile, Linda still finished strong, with a placement of 63rd in her division. Continuing to refine pacing strategy for the latter miles could enhance performance further. Congratulations to Linda and her team, The Ham String Quartet, for a solid outing.
