Consistent Pacing Exhibited Throughout the Race John Prymak maintained a steady pace during the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon, completing the race in 4:48:14. With an overall pace of 11:00 min/mile, John finished 744th out of 1,388 participants, securing 418th place among males and 67th in the Male 30-34 division. Performance highlights include a consistent pace around the 10:30-10:50 min/mile range through most segments, with impressive pacing seen in mile 17, clocking in at 10:04 min/mile. Early splits showed a strong start, particularly noted with a 9:49 min/mile in mile 2. Although the pace slowed slightly between miles 23 and 25, with paces of 12:01 and 14:28 min/mile, John effectively balanced out with faster miles earlier and toward the end. The data suggests that maintaining a more uniform pace in the later miles could enhance overall performance. Great job representing the Thatch gang, and keep up the solid work in future races!
