Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Ashley Young represented "Girls on the Run" in the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course with a final time of 2:15:22. Her average pace was 10:20 minutes per mile, finishing at the 1445th overall position out of 2630 participants. Within her gender, she placed 792nd and ranked 194th in the F 19-24 age division. Ashley demonstrated an admirable consistency, especially between miles 6 and 7 where her pace improved to around 10:02 minutes per mile. Notably, she held her ground well as positions varied minimally in the latter stages of the race, with her strongest improvement seen between miles 5 and 6, where she picked up speed. A slight pacing dip appeared in miles 9 and 12, but she swiftly regained her rhythm. With a little more pacing optimization, there's potential for even better future performances.
