Strong Middle Performance with Consistent Pacing Christian Carver maintained a consistent and impressive pace throughout the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Starting with an initial mile of 9:28, he quickly settled into a steady rhythm. Notably, his second mile showed significant acceleration with a split pace of 6:55, elevating his overall standings significantly. Christian demonstrated remarkable stability in the middle section of the race, maintaining split paces just above 7:30 min/mile for miles 4 to 10. This consistency in pacing allowed him to hold competitive division and overall placements. Finishing with an elapsed time of 1:40:22, Christian achieved an average pace of 7:39 min/mile, placing 241st overall and 37th in his division M 25-29. His performance remained strong even towards the end of the race, with only slight variability in pace.
