Consistent Start, Endurance Challenges in Later Miles Ross Sanovich from Draper, UT, competing in the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon showed a solid start with a quick pace of 9:33 min/mile in the first mile, ranking 21st in the M 55-59 division. His pacing remained relatively consistent through the initial seven miles, maintaining sub-11-minute miles until mile 8. His placement improved within the earlier stages, moving up from 363rd to 286th in his gender. In the latter half, Ross's pace began to slow, particularly in the final few miles, recording a slower 15:14 min/mile at mile 12. He completed the race with an overall elapsed time of 2:35:21 and finished 40th in his division. His pacing indicates a need to work on endurance in the latter stages. Focusing on maintaining pace stability beyond the midpoint could be beneficial for future races. The team "Horrific Helgas" benefited from having him on board.
