Consistent Pacing with a Strong Start Nichole Christensen from Helena, MT, showcased solid and consistent pacing throughout the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. She maintained a steady pace in the first several splits, with her fastest split at mile 3 with a pace of 9:26 min/mile. Her overall elapsed time was 2:15:02, with an average pace of 10:18 min/mile for the 13.1-mile course. Nichole started strong, placing 42nd in her division after the first mile and continuously showed resilience in maintaining her pace despite a challenging finish. By mile 11, there was a noticeable drop in speed, pacing at 12:33 min/mile, but she managed a solid recovery in the final miles. Nichole placed 785th among female participants and finished 71st in the Female 45-49 division out of 2630 overall runners. Moving forward, focusing on maintaining the pace in the latter part of the race will enhance performance even further. Keep up the great work and dedication, Nichole!
