Steady Pace with Notable Mid-Race Recovery Zoie Hansen ran the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon with a consistent pace across most of the race. Notably, Zoie's performance was steady at the start with 11:21 min/mile for the first three miles. She experienced a slowdown in the 4th mile to a 13:20 min/mile pace, dropping her placement slightly. However, she quickly adjusted her speed, clocking a 10:34 min/mile in the 5th mile. This impressive recovery in pace was sustained throughout several subsequent miles. Improvement can be seen from the last few splits, especially in the 10th and 12th miles where she ran at 11:12 and 11:33 min/mile, respectively. Zoie finished with an overall time of 2:31:31. Ending 1868th out of 2630 participants, Zoie ranked 1118th among females and 215th in her division. Her consistent pacing indicates a strong foundation. Future race strategies could incorporate a focus on sustaining speed during mid-race sections.
