Consistent Early Splits, A Strong Start Princess Bombyck demonstrated consistent pacing in the early stages of the race, maintaining a sub-12:30 pace for the first two miles with times of 12:24 and 12:28, respectively. Her strongest mile split occurred between miles 3 and 4, completing this segment at an impressive 11:41 and helping her move upward in the gender category rankings. In the latter part of the race, the pace began to slow after mile 7, with the most significant decline occurring at mile 11, where the split was 17:39. This resulted in an overall finish time of 2:57:27. Positively, Bombyck exhibited a strong early performance, suggesting potential for improved endurance and pacing consistency throughout the race. Adjusting the strategy to maintain energy levels beyond mile 7 could further enhance future performances.
