Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Maya Sage displayed commendable pacing throughout the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:45:13, achieving an impressive average pace of 8:01 min/mile. Starting with a steady pace of 8:48 for the first mile, she progressively increased her speed to a remarkable 7:41 in the 11th mile. Her performance improved consistently, placing her 354th overall, 132nd among female runners, and securing 18th place in her division of Female 25-29. Her pacing strategy was particularly noteworthy between miles 4 and 11, where she consistently lowered her split times, achieving a best of 7:41 for mile 11. With her ability to maintain focus, and excellent pace variation, Maya effectively moved through the ranks, finishing as the 19th in her division for the final mile.
