Pacing Consistency and Late-Course Gains Josh Mayer, running in the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon, maintained consistent pacing throughout the race. Between miles 1 to 9, his pace slightly varied between 10:32 and 11:57 min/mile. A particularly strong performance was recorded at mile 8 with a split of 9:48 min/mile.
