Consistent Performance with Strong Start Shaun Huls submitted a noteworthy performance at the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. He maintained a solid and steady pace throughout the race, averaging a 10:01 min/mile pace over the 13.1-mile course, finishing with a total time of 2:11:16. Notably, Shaun showed strong pacing at the beginning, with his fastest split of 9:12 min/mile occurring between miles 3 and 4. He held a consistent position within his age division (M 50-54), ranking consistently between the 27th and 32nd spot. Shaun's performance through the majority of the race was commendable, slightly slowing in the latter miles, with splits ranging between 11:27 and 12:23 min/mile from miles 11 to 13. While these later splits see some increase, the overall consistency in earlier miles bodes well for future races.
