Consistent with a Strong Finish Ted Fyten from Taylorsville, UT, showed exceptional pacing throughout the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, finishing with a total time of 2:08:58. Maintaining an overall pace of 9:50 min/mile, his performance was steady across splits with slight variations. Notable splits include miles 3 and 9, where he achieved his fastest paces of 9:28 and 9:02 min/mile, respectively. A slight slowdown was observed at mile 4 with a time of 12:24; however, Ted quickly regained a strong pace in the following miles. Among 2630 participants, Ted was 1235th overall and 589th among male runners. In the Male 25-29 division, he secured the 128th spot. Ted should be proud of his results, given the extensive competition. Focusing on maintaining consistent splits and a strong recovery after any slower miles will elevate his performance in future races.
