Consistent Mid-Race Pacing Boosts Performance Rosemary Glaven demonstrated steady pace management throughout the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon, maintaining an average pace of 8:57 min/mile. She completed the 13.1 miles in 1:57:20. Notably, she achieved a strong pace in miles 4 and 5, with split times of 8:54 and 8:31, respectively. This mid-race consistency helped her improve her standing, moving from 31st to 20th within her division early in the race. Her overall placement was 849 out of 2630 participants, which placed her 403rd among females and 37th in the Female 40-44 division. Although she experienced a slight slowing down around mile 12 with a pace of 9:14, she executed a strong finish, improving her position to 37th in her division. Continuing to enhance speed in the latter part of the race, especially between miles 6 and 7, could result in even more improved performances in future races.
