Strong Middle Splits with Late Challenges Meg Cunningham from Riverton, UT delivered a solid race in the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:59:26, averaging a pace of 9:07 min/mile. Early splits were steady, with her opening mile clocking in at 9:03. Meg showed improvement in the middle section, logging her fastest splits between miles four and seven, notably with an impressive 7:58 min/mile at mile five. Her strongest placement within her division occurred in the middle splits, indicating a well-maintained pace through this section. As the race continued, Meg faced some challenges, with her pace slowing after eight miles, dropping to 9:42 min/mile at mile ten and 10:46 min/mile at mile eleven. Her final placement was 43rd in the F 45-49 division, 459th among females, and 937th overall out of 2630 participants. Continuing to work on endurance over the last section could bring about improved consistency and a stronger finish.
