Steady Improvement and Consistency Shine in Performance Kuang-Yie started the race with a pace of 9:08 min/mile for the first mile and found a stride by mile 4 with an impressive pace of 7:29 min/mile, showcasing notable improvement throughout the race. The initial slower pace saw her placing 567th overall early on, but the quickened pace later in the race propelled her to 771st place and 367th in her gender by mile 12, closing the race at an overall position of 832. Her overall race time was 1:57:01, averaging 8:55 min/mile over the 13.1 miles, securing the 40th spot in her age division (F 30-34). The fourth mile was a highlight, marked by the fastest split time of 7:29. Throughout the race, she demonstrated consistent pacing, especially in the second half, maintaining an 8:35 to 9:46 min/mile range. Focusing on early race consistency may bring further gains.
