Consistent Early Pace with Strong Finish Susan Roundy maintained a steady pace during the early stages of the 2026 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon. Her first two miles were completed with identical split times of 8:04, reflecting her effective pacing strategy. Despite a challenging third mile where her pace slightly dropped to 8:37, Susan quickly regained composure and maintained a strong overall performance throughout the race. Her final time was 4:17:50, placing her 19th in the F 45-49 division. In terms of pacing, though later split times varied, Susan managed to close the marathon with a consistent pace under 10:05 for most of the final miles. Her performance as part of the "Scrambled Legs" team was noteworthy, particularly her ability to improve standing in the second half of the race. A focus for future races could be maintaining a steadier pace in the middle portion of the race to capitalize on her strong finish capability.
