Consistent Effort with Noticeable Mid-Race Surge Mary Stefanidakis completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a final time of 1:18:45, resulting in an overall pace of 12:42 min/mile. At the 1-mile mark, she began with a 12:05 split, and by the 2-mile mark, she improved her pace, clocking a split of 11:42. Her 5th mile was completed in 13:25, placing her at 274th within her division. It's noteworthy that her best split time occurred between the first and second mile, with an improvement of 23 seconds in pace. Maintaining uniformity, her overall placement in the F50-59 division was 397th out of over 5,663 participants. Focusing on splits, maintaining the consistency achieved in her earliest pacing could be beneficial. Working on sustaining her momentum from the second mile throughout the entire race may help improve her elapsed pace.
