Steady Progress and Strong Finish Teresa Zapata showed impressive consistency throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with a split pace of 10:45 min/mile in the first mile, she maintained her focus and gradually improved her pacing. By mile two, she reduced her pace to 9:59 min/mile, a solid improvement, and maintained similar pacing through the subsequent miles, closing the race with an overall pace of 10:04 min/mile. Her incremental progress in ranking is notable. She started at 2,605th place overall and improved to 1,369th by the finish. Remaining consistent and persistent, Teresa moved up nearly 1,000 places during the race, an excellent testament to her strong effort and determination. With some focus on early pacing, Teresa can continue to refine her strategy for even better performance in future races. Great work, Teresa!
