Consistent Effort with Gradual Pacing Adjustments Amy Davies completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, showing steady performance throughout the 6.2-mile course. She finished with an overall time of 1:17:51, clocking an average pace of 12:33 min/mile. Noteworthy was her consistent pace with slight increases in each split. Amy started strong with a 11:11 min/mile in the first mile, ranking 157th in her division at that split. While there is evidence of gradual pace adjustments, Amy maintained a disciplined approach, especially between miles 4 to 6 where her split times were 13:10, 13:51, and 13:14 respectively. Ending the race with improved placement at mile 6, she positioned 450th in her division. Despite falls in her rank in earlier splits, her final push shows a strategic improvement. For future races, aim to maintain initial paces for longer and mitigate pace drops in middle splits.
