Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Neva Taylor demonstrated impressive pacing strategy during the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with a 10:54 min/mile pace in the first mile, Neva steadily increased her pace as the race progressed. She managed to shorten each subsequent split, with her fastest split being the final mile at 8:50 min/mile. Overall, Neva finished with an elapsed time of 1:00:42 and an average pace of 9:47 min/mile. By gradually increasing her speed, Neva improved her overall standing considerably, moving from the 2779th position at the start to 1772nd by the finish. Her strong finish in the F20-29 division also saw an improvement from 1021st at the first mile to 699th at the end. This consistent performance is a solid foundation. Continuing to refine her early pacing could yield even more significant results in future races.
