Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Lori Puff participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, representing the "Buns on the Run" team. She completed the 6.2-mile race with a final time of 1:21:16, averaging a consistent pace of 13:06 min/mile. Lori demonstrated steady pacing through the first four miles, with split times ranging from 12:54 to 13:37. Her standout performance was the fifth mile, where she accelerated to a 12:32 split pace, marking her fastest mile of the race. Lori improved her position as the race progressed, starting in 4080th and finishing in 4040th overall. Particularly noteworthy is her advancement in the F60-69 division, moving from 200th at mile two to 144th by the end. Maintaining the positive momentum seen in the final mile would help in future races. Continuation of this strategy and fine-tuning pacing could provide further improvements and enhance her race experience.
