Consistent Improvement and Strong Finish Amy steadily improved her pace as the race progressed, showcasing a strong strategy. Beginning with a first-mile pace of 10:25 min/mile, she quickly gained momentum. By the halfway point at mile three, she had improved her pace significantly to 9:54 min/mile. Her most notable achievement was during the last mile when she managed her fastest split at 8:52 min/mile, demonstrating determination and effective pacing strategy. Finishing the 10K in a time of 59:06, Amy maintained an overall pace of 9:32 min/mile. Her overall standing was 1488 out of 5663 participants, and she finished 582nd in the F20-29 division. For future races, consider focusing on maintaining consistency across all miles, as your final miles were particularly strong.
