Consistent Pacing and Smart Progression Alyne Butland demonstrated impressive pacing throughout the 10K race. Starting with a split of 9:01, she quickly found her rhythm, improving to a steady pace of around 8:33-8:39 for the majority of the race. Her elapsed pace settled at an efficient 8:35 min/mile by the end. This consistent pacing strategy helped her gain positions throughout the race, moving from 922nd place overall at the first mile to 683rd by the finish. A significant highlight of Alynes performance was her progress in the F40-49 division. She started in 155th position and improved her standing to finish 103rd in her division. Her split times and pacing suggest effective use of energy, allowing her to finish strong. Continuing to refine speedwork could further enhance her competitive edge.
