Consistent Start with Strong Pace Finish Yeonsu Choi, representing Cambridge, MA, participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women and completed the race in 1:02:03, covering 6.2 miles at an average pace of 10:00 min/mile. She displayed a consistent start, with her first two miles clocking in around 9:12 and 9:08 respectively. The initial splits suggest a strong control over pacing, especially in the early stages of the race. The middle portion showed a bit of fluctuation, with mile 3 pacing at 10:15, slightly slower than her previous miles. This was followed by a slower mile 4 at 12:23. However, Yeonsu made a notable recovery in the latter part of the race, accelerating to finish mile 5 in 9:49 and mile 6 in 9:30. This improvement in pace towards the end is commendable. For future races, focusing on maintaining the strong pace she demonstrated initially could benefit her overall time. Great job!
