Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Bethan Chilton maintained a consistent pace throughout the 10K event with impressive control. Starting with a 7:09 min/mile pace for the first mile, she managed to accelerate slightly in the second mile, clocking 7:05 min/mile. Her overall elapsed time was 45:20 with an elapsed pace of 7:18 min/mile, showcasing her consistent strength across the entire race. Although there was a slight decrease in pace during the middle miles, Bethan successfully held a strong position, particularly noticeable in the final mile where she picked up her standing to 128th place overall. Her ability to recover speed was a highlight, emphasizing her endurance and finishing power.
