Steady Pace with Strong Finish Colleen Cronin maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting strong, her first mile was completed at a 9:10 min/mile pace. Over the next few miles, her pace varied only slightly, with her slowest mile being the fifth at 9:44 min/mile. Despite this minor decrease in pace, she managed to finish the race with a final elapsed time of 58:39, translating to an overall pace of 9:27 min/mile. Her performance was particularly notable in the concluding mile where she improved to a pace of 9:46 min/mile, successfully elevating her position from 1332 overall to closing the race at 1413 out of 5663 participants. In her division F40-49, she placed 238th. Focusing on maintaining consistent effort and perhaps integrating targeted speed workouts could help maintain this trajectory in future events.
