Consistent Pace, Improving Positions Sydney Sypko maintained a consistent pace throughout the 10K race. Her splits show a strong start with an initial pace of 10:27 min/mile, improving to a 9:38 min/mile pace by the second mile. Although there was a slight drop in speed, her overall pace remained steady near the 10:15 min/mile mark. She completed the race in 1:03:38. Strategically, Sydney improved her positions significantly between the third and sixth miles. Starting in the 2200s place overall, she progressed to finish at 1469, displaying a strong performance curve. In the division standing for F20-29, she moved steadily past competitors, ending in 833rd place. Adjustment in pace during the middle stages and finishing with a consistent effort reflected her determination. Focusing on consistent pacing in the latter miles could further enhance future performances.
