Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Hannah Reale maintained a steady pace throughout her 10K race, beginning with a 7:16 min/mile in the first mile. Impressively, her pace improved slightly in the second mile to 7:11 min/mile. Although the third mile slowed to 7:27 min/mile, she quickly rebounded, picking up speed over the following miles. Her splits in the latter half of the race showed a consistent pace, with a commendable finish of 6:56 min/mile in the sixth mile. Overall, Hannah completed the race in 44:26, with an average pace of 7:10 min/mile. She secured 137th place out of 5663 participants, and 66th in her age division. Notably, her performance improved significantly in placement as the race progressed, moving from 166th in the first mile to 110th by the sixth mile. This suggests a strong finish, which is an admirable aspect of her race strategy. Consistent pacing will benefit future races.
