Consistent Start and Determination to Finish Johannah Murphy started the 2025 Boston 10K for Women strong, moving steadily through the first two miles with consistent paces of 11:50 and 11:47 minutes per mile. Moving on to mile three, her pace decreased to 13:06 min/mile, and continued to drop slightly over the remaining miles, reaching 15:04 min/mile by mile five. Despite the slower pace, she showed resilience by maintaining forward momentum and completed the 10K with an overall time of 1:22:38. In her division F30-39, Johannah's performance placed her 1116th. Notably, there was a significant advancement in placement after the fifth mile, jumping from 3783 to 2802 in overall standing. Maintaining a steady pace through the first stages could benefit her in future races. Continuing to focus on maintaining consistency throughout the entire race may help Johannah to close gaps during later stages. Her performance shows solid determination and sets the stage for growth.
