Outstanding Mid-Race Surge Jessica Rupp from Somerville, MA, showcased an impressive performance during the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Her early pace set the tone, beginning with an 8:37 min/mile at the first mile. Notably, she increased her speed over the following miles, consistently reducing her pace, hitting her fastest split at mile 4 with an 8:07 min/mile pace. Her ability to quicken her pace demonstrated strategic pacing development. Rupp finished the race with a 51:03 time and an overall pace of 8:14 min/mile. She gained ground as the race progressed, moving up in her division ranking from 171 at mile 2 to finishing strong at 141 out of a competitive field in her age group, F30-39.
