Consistent Improvement Leads to a Strong Finish Cassandra McBride's performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women showcased a steady race with a well-paced strategy. Starting with an 11:20 min/mile pace for the first mile, she maintained relatively consistent split times throughout most of the race. While her pace slightly decreased during miles 2 and 3, finishing those at 11:38 and 11:46 min/mile respectively, she made notable strides as the race progressed. In particular, Cassandra showed a strong recovery in the latter stages, improving to a 11:14 min/mile pace by mile 5 and an impressive 10:43 min/mile in the final mile. She finished with an overall time of 1:11:24, exhibiting a commendable finish pace of 11:32 min/mile across the 6.2 miles.
