Consistent Effort with Steady Pace Leila Zucher participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, delivering a solid performance with a total time of 1:28:54 and an average pace of 14:20 min/mile over her 10K run. Starting strong, her first-mile split was completed in 12:30, placing her in the top quarter of her division (F50-59) at 122nd. Throughout the series of splits, there was a noticeable slowing in pace, reaching a split pace of 15:42 for the sixth mile. Leila finished 327th in her division by the fifth mile, maintaining this positioning for the final mile. Across the entire event, Leila achieved an overall position of 4,295 out of 5,663 total participants. Her strategic start showed promise. Future efforts could benefit from fine-tuning endurance to sustain the initial pacing strategy for improved late-stage performance in future races. Nonetheless, she concluded the race with a strong finish.
