Consistent Effort Through Varied Pacing Ashley Laryea completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women in a total time of 1:23:50, averaging a pace of 13:31 min/mile, representing her team, Black Girls Run!. Throughout the race, she showed a strong start, clocking her first two splits under 13 minutes at 12:43 and 12:25. Notably, her second split was her fastest, improving over the first by 18 seconds. As the race progressed, Ashley faced variable pacing, particularly between the third and sixth miles. After a slight decrease in speed during the third mile, her position improved significantly by the fifth mile, jumping from 4064 to 2998 overall. Concluding the race in 1:21:32 for 6 miles, she managed to maintain a stable finish. For future races, keeping the momentum gained in mile five could enhance overall time and pacing. Engaging in interval training could aid in keeping a steady pace throughout subsequent races.
