Consistent Pacing Highlights Performance Erica Mintzer from Jamaica Plain, MA completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 1:10:30. Across the 6.2-mile course, she maintained an average pace of 11:22 min/mile. Her splits reveal a noteworthy consistency in pacing, starting with an 11:11 min/mile at mile 1 and finishing around 11:20 min/mile by mile 6. Despite a slight pace variation, her ability to mostly maintain her speed demonstrates strong pacing skills. Analyzing the splits further, mile 5 showed a decrease in speed with an 11:51 min/mile, but Erica successfully rebounded, improving to an 11:20 min/mile in the final mile. She placed 547th in the competitive F40-49 division. Future focus could be on maintaining a consistent pace throughout to improve placement.
