Consistent Pace with Strong Divisional Placement Lisa Plesko demonstrated impressive consistency across her 10K race, maintaining a steady pace throughout. She recorded splits of 7:10 to 7:19 min/mile, showcasing her endurance. Finishing with an overall time of 44:44 translates to an average pace of 7:13 min/mile over the 6.2-mile distance. In her division (F40-49), Lisa secured a commendable 12th place. Her ability to start strong and slightly increase her standing within the division by the end of the race can be attributed to her consistent pacing. There was nearly no change in her gender placement from mile 3 to mile 6, reflecting stable performance. As a coach, I would encourage Lisa to keep building on her strengths and explore strategies to maintain her positioning when starting robustly. Her performance shows great promise in maintaining an even distribution over long distances.
