Consistent Pace and Steady Improvement Ha-Young Kwon, from Belmont, MA, participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Clocking in at 1:06:03 for the 6.2-mile course, Ha-Young maintained a commendable average pace of 10:39 min/mile. She began with a controlled first mile at 10:52 min/mile and improved her pace over the subsequent miles. Notably, her third mile was completed at a swift 10:31 min/mile, demonstrating strong pacing skills. Her strategic approach paid off, as she consistently improved her standing within her division. By the fourth mile, Ha-Young advanced significantly to 875th place in the F20-29 division, from an initial 1014th. Despite a slight slowdown in the fifth mile, she managed to maintain a strong overall position. This consistent improvement highlights her ability to adjust her race strategy efficiently. Focusing on maintaining speed in the later stages could assist in further performance gains.
